Ocean Isle Beach is gearing up for another terrific year! The Museum of Coastal Carolina will be hosting the Annual Concerts on the Coast concert series again for 2011. The concerts are free to the public and will be held every Friday evening beginning May 27th with the last concert of the season taking place on September 2nd. The concerts are held in the parking lot beside the Museum of Coastal Carolina and begin at 6:30 pm. Below is a list of the bands scheduled for this year's series.

The Annual Fourth of July Parade will take place at 10 am on the morning of the Fourth. The line up starts in the museum parking lot at 9:30am. Decorate your float, golf cart, or bicycle and come join in all the fun!
There will be a Labor Day Sand Scuplture Contest on the beach behind the OIB Community Center located at 44 East First Street. The contest will be held on September 3rd from 11:30am to 1:30pm.
