Fishing License Reminder

For those of you making your first trip to Ocean Isle this summer, effective January 1, 2007 anyone age 16 or older must obtain a CRFL or Coastal Recreational Fishing License to saltwater fish in the state of North Carolina. Ocean fishing piers and for-hire vessels may elect to purchase a blanket license to cover their fishing patrons so check with them first before purchasing a license if this will be the only fishing you plan to do. If you would like to purchase your license in advance, you can do so by logging onto: www.ncwildlife.org and filling out the neccesary information.

There are two different types of licenses to choose from: an Annual license will cost NC residents $15 and nonresidents $30. A 10-day license is also available for NC residents at a cost of $5 or $10 for nonresidents.

Beach Renourishment Update

Beach Renourishment is now underway on Ocean Isle Beach! Around 510,000 cubic yards of sand is being placed on the East End of Ocean Isle beach. Renourishment helps protect the homes along the beach while also providing recreational space for visitors. New Perks Club Members!

HOT Myrtle Beach Attractions Now on Perks Club!

Guests of Sunset Properties have been able to save at popular area businesses for over a year, thanks to our Perks Club.
