Join in the fun on Super Saturday!

The Ocean Isle Property Owners Association is planning another terrific day on the Saturday after Thanksgiving (Nov 26th), and everyone is invited to join in!

The Christmas Parade will start at 2 pm at the Museum (lineup time for participants is 30 minutes earlier). The parade goes east on 2nd Street and back west on 1st Street.

At 5 pm, the Tree lighting will take place at the fire station (and we'll have the holiday lights on at our Sunset Properties office and Ocean Plaza right across the street!). Santa will make a quick visit in for the kids right afterwards at 5:30 pm at the fire station. Enjoy some hot chocolate and cookies for all!

To top the day off, the waterway boat flotilla starts around 5 pm at Inlet View, and travels up the waterway and ends at Sharkys Restaurant on the island around 6:30-7 pm for the judging. Afterwards, stick around at Sharkys for the fun party that will include a charity raffle supporting Brunswick Family Assistance.

This is always one of the great days of the off-season at Ocean Isle. We hope you can join in. If you need a place to stay, check the Sunset Properties website for all of the options!

Photo and Video Contest Winners Announced

Sunset Properties is pleased to announce that Ryan Koechig from Media, PA. is this year's photo contest winner.

Ryan's winning photo was of a sunrise looking down Tubb's Inlet behind the bayfront homes from one of our rentals on Cobia Street.

Sunset Properties also has selected Sara Gerlich's family video as the winner of this year's video contest. Her video showed her extended family playing games on the beach strand like so many of our guests do during their stay.

Both Ryan and Sara will receive IPad 2's from Sunset Properties for winning the contests.

Thanks for all of the entries this year-we finished with well over 400 photos, and a handful of videos. You can view the photos in our gallery by using the social corner link on our website at www.vacationrentalsatoceanisle.com.

We also appreciated the feedback on the finalists both on our facebook pages and elsewhere. We had fun with the contests, and look forward to starting next year's contest in April!
